MEI is proud to showcase our contribution to the re-imagining of Beaverbrooks at Rushden Lakes Retail Park, where we provided comprehensive electrical and installation services to enhance the store’s external signage. This project was a key part of the retail park's transformation, designed to improve visibility and brand presence through high-quality illuminated displays.

Our scope of work included the design, supply, and installation of a range of signage and lighting solutions for the Beaverbrooks store, positioned at a prominent location within the retail park. The project required careful planning to ensure that all systems met both functional and aesthetic requirements while being weatherproof and durable enough to withstand external conditions.

• Design and Structural Support: We designed and installed horizontal galvanised steel posts and rails to support the new signage, ensuring they were securely mounted and capable of withstanding outdoor elements. These structural elements were vital for supporting the new illuminated lightboxes and creating a visually appealing display for the store’s exterior.
• Signage Installation: We installed individual 750mm tall letters to the horizontal rails, carefully placing each one to create a striking visual presentation. This involved precision work to ensure the letters were properly aligned and securely fixed.
• Lighting Installation: To ensure the signage was visible both day and night, we installed three new externally mounted lightboxes along the north elevation of the store. These lightboxes were designed to be internally illuminated, providing bright, consistent lighting that effectively showcased the signage and enhanced the store's visibility.
• Electrical Work and Illumination: MEI handled the electrical installation of the lightboxes, including the necessary wiring and internal illumination systems. The lightboxes were carefully tested and commissioned to ensure that the lighting system operated efficiently, meeting all required specifications and safety standards.
• Site Finishing: To complete the project, we ensured that the site was left in pristine condition. This involved cleaning the roof, walls, and pedestrian footpaths, ensuring a safe and professional finish.

This project was delivered with a focus on quality and attention to detail, ensuring that the new signage and lighting systems provided an effective and visually striking upgrade to Beaverbrooks at Rushden Lakes. The enhanced signage not only elevated the store's appearance but also contributed to the overall aesthetic transformation of the retail park, offering improved visibility for customers and reinforcing the Beaverbrooks brand.
