One of the standout features of our work at Windsor House was the creation of a smart lighting scheme. This system was designed to mimic the natural light filtering through the building’s striking atrium roof, ensuring that the interior lighting dynamically responded to changes in daylight throughout the day. This system not only improved energy efficiency but also helped create a welcoming and comfortable environment for the building’s occupants. In addition to the smart lighting, we carefully selected and installed complementary lighting throughout the space, strategically placed to enhance the ambiance while showcasing the building's architectural beauty.

A key challenge on this project was the installation of a bespoke ventilation system that met the modern needs of the building while respecting its listed status. Our team worked meticulously to design a solution that preserved the building’s historical features, including intricate details in the structure, while ensuring the air quality within the space was optimal. We incorporated the latest ventilation technology to provide a comfortable environment for occupants without compromising the integrity of the building.

Additionally, we installed an underfloor heating system, which was carefully integrated into the building’s design to provide efficient, comfortable heating. This system helped balance the modern demands of energy efficiency with the characterful features of the space, offering a contemporary solution that enhanced both comfort and sustainability.
